The Egyptian Society of Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery (EG-CMF)

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the use of the EG-CMF website, membership services, event registrations, educational content, and all related activities.
By accessing this website or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

If you do not agree, please refrain from using the website or EG-CMF services.

The EG-CMF website provides information related to:

3. Membership Terms

3.1 Eligibility

Membership categories include Active, Associate, Resident, and International Members.
Eligibility criteria for each category are outlined on the Membership Page.

3.2 Application & Approval

  • All membership applications must be submitted online.

  • EG-CMF reserves the right to accept or reject any application.

  • Application fees and membership dues are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

3.3 Membership Fees

  • Membership fees must be paid annually, no later than 31 December for the upcoming year.

  • Fees may be revised by the Society without prior notice.

3.4 Membership Renewal & Category Change

  • Members are responsible for renewing their membership on time.

  • Associate Members may request an upgrade to a different membership category by written request to the Secretary-Treasurer.

3.5 Lapsed Membership & Reinstatement

  • Members who lapse within the last five years may reinstate by paying all outstanding dues.

  • Lapses exceeding five years require reapplication.

4. Event Registration & Participation

4.1 Registration

  • Registration for events (CME, workshops, conferences) must be completed through the website.

  • Seats may be limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

4.2 Payments

  • Event fees are payable at the time of registration.

  • EG-CMF is not responsible for transaction failures caused by third-party payment providers.

4.3 Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Refund eligibility (if applicable) will be stated on each event page.

  • EG-CMF reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events; in such cases, participants will be notified.​

5. Educational Content & CME

All educational content—including lectures, videos, publications, and CME materials—is the intellectual property of EG-CMF or its speakers.
Users may not copy, distribute, or modify content without written permission.

CME certificates are issued only to eligible participants who meet attendance or exam requirements.

​6. Intellectual Property Rights

All logos, designs, graphics, images, icons, publications, and website content are the property of EG-CMF unless otherwise stated.

No part of the website may be reproduced without prior written consent.

7. Logo Usage

Use of the official EG-CMF logo is strictly regulated.

  • Active Members may request permission to use the logo.

  • Resident Members are not permitted to use the logo.

  • Unauthorized use may result in legal action or membership termination.

EG-CMF collects and processes personal data in order to manage membership, event registrations, CME activities, and communications.

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties except for:

  • Payment processors

  • CME accreditation bodies

  • Event management partners
