The Egyptian Society of Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery (EG-CMF) is dedicated to supporting surgeons, residents, and researchers in the field of cranio-maxillofacial surgery. Our mission is to promote the highest standards of clinical practice, provide advanced educational programs, support scientific research, and foster collaboration among specialists across Egypt and the region.

The roots of cranio-maxillofacial surgery in Egypt trace back to the establishment of the Egyptian Society of Plastic Surgeons in 1962, under which cranio-maxillofacial practice initially developed. As the specialty advanced and expanded in scope, surgeons dedicated to cranio-maxillofacial surgery recognized the need for an independent scientific body to represent the field.
Accordingly, EG-CMF was established in 2024 as a branch of the Egyptian Medical Association, uniting qualified surgeons working within this highly specialized discipline. The Society serves as the official and sole representative of cranio-maxillofacial surgery in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
